Use of 'Any' in brief

Use of ‘any' as singular and plural

If any is use with singular countable noun, it is singular.

He has hardly any book in his bag.

If it (any) is used with plural countable noun, it becomes plural.

Did you purchase any toys from fair?

If it (any) is used with uncountable noun, it is always singular.

Do you have any money in your pocket?
